June bug's first canoe trip was much more successful than the rowboat debacle of last year.

How this came about, I'm not sure, but it was by far June's favorite craft activity. She was extremely impatient to shove sharp wire ends into my scalp, and hurried me along with repeated cries of "let's go!" and "turn around!"
